The Seveninch colab features premium white leather and a translucent gum sole, while the double chevron branding on the sides comes alive at night with a reflective shine. The Seveninch x Hummel Hive DHB is limited to 250 pairs worldwide.
Danish sportswear label Hummel and Japan’s Mita Sneakers have announced a new unique Marathona OG design inspired by salmon. Salmon is the key ingredient in traditional dishes in both nations, sushi in Japan and smørrebrød (open-faced sandwiches) in Denmark. The Hummel x Mita Sneakers Marathona OG features a green, gray and brown upper referencing the Danish rye bread used for smørrebrød, Nordic pine forests and the typical color scheme of traditional smørrebrøds restaurants. These colors contrast a striking salmon toe constructed from premium suede and durabuck leather. The in-sock and lace tips feature subtle branding, and the collaboration includes two lace options: gray, and white and blue.
Thirty-three years on from its initial release, Danish sportswear brand Hummel has tapped Overkill for a 21st century revamp of the iconic Marathona runner. A throwback to the colorful look of ’90s sportswear, the kicks are highlighted by a gradient mesh that transitions from light violet to deep purple. Joining the gradient is optical white micro suede throughout while Overkill branding hits everything from the tongue and mudguard to the lace tag and tips. This limited edition comes with a matching set of socks.
