Lacoste is the official tennis and casual apparel and footwear outfitter of the Miami Open. This year Lacoste celebrates its presence in the world of tennis and the heritage of its founder Rene Lacoste. This shoe is executed on the Dash model as it celebrates its 30th year in the range. Taking aesthetic influence from iconic tennis symbols, the yellow ball and tennis racket, the styles are absolutely grounded in Lacoste brand DNA. Launched in line with the Miami Open, Lacoste L!VE’s collaboration with Addict takes clear influence from brand’s origins on the tennis court. Limited to 50 pairs, the tennis ball inspired execution will be limited to the Addict store in Miami. The aesthetic clearly references the materials of a classic tennis ball, with a flourescent yellow felt tongue. The upper is executed in sports-inspired technical mesh, referencing the net of a court; an iconic symbol of tennis. Leather hits on the heel, mud guard and facings adds textural contrast on the upper as well as added durability.

Taken directly from the Lacoste archive the Missouri silhouette first landed in the range in 1989. This heritage all terrain court tennis shoe was given cult status after 2006 Sneaker Freaker collaboration. Through this collection we celebrate the enduring relevance of the Missouri silhouette. We take the inspiration from the iconic Lacoste polo and tracksuit. Mixing classic footwear textiles like ripstop, nylon and terry cloth with piqué fabric and shirt detailing such as the custom button and oversized croc embroidery on the heel counter panel.
